AADC’s Campaign Headquarters for the 2024 Election

Last summer AADC decided that we would like to have a Campaign Headquarters right here in Auburn, like we did in 2018. We wanted to be able to support our local candidates and talk to our neighbors without having to drive to Roseville or Rocklin. We envisioned a place where our members and other progressives could gather to canvass, write postcards and letters, text, or phone bank. We would be able to meet and greet our candidates, converse with fellow activists, and distribute candidate information, yard signs, and swag. We could also support downb-ballot races, including local, city, and county positions, as well as school board candidates. Most importantly, from our local office we could help stop MAGA and take back our democracy!
We set a goal of raising $10,000 to lease and open an office right here in Auburn for the months leading up to the election. In February we got serious about raising these funds for our Campaign HQ 2024. A group of anonymous donors offered to match donations from AADC members and supporters up to the first $2,500. The response was amazing! Not only did we reach our goal of raising $2,500 from our members and supporters, but we have far exceeded it. We received over 100 donations. With the $2500 match of our generous sponsors, we now have raised a total of $8,525!
We asked our AADC members and supporters to help make our Campaign Headquarters 2024 a reality and you stepped up. Your response exceeded all expectations, and you are all rock stars! We’d like to thank everyone who donated as well as the group of anonymous donors. Your generosity is appreciated! The good news? We have started looking for a location for our HQ 2024!
