Reward Fund for Finding No Kings Shooter
A man shot six people with an automatic BB gun at the March 28, 2026 No Kings Rally. No one was seriously injured, but people are obviously angry that someone tried to intimidate peaceful protestors.
AADC organized a meeting with the Sheriff’s department Field Operations Commander Josh Tindall and members of his team at the AADC headquarters on April 3rd. Shooting a pellet gun into a crowd is considered a felony. The Sheriff’s office has involved Crime Stoppers Auburn to publicize the event and to offer a reward to anyone who can give information about the shooter and/or his car. Ed Koons, former president of AADC, has offered his own assistance to set up a fund to be used as a reward with the same purpose.
The number to call the Sheriff’s office is 530 889-7800. Thank you to those who have already donated to the Ed Koons account! If you would like to add to the reward, please contact Ed Koons at edesq@hotmail.com
Thank you,
Cindy Engen, AADC President
