AADC’s inaugural community forum: Taking Action on Hunger, Local Voices, Local Solutions was a success: the speakers were terrific, the audience engaged, and many of our more than 65 attendees made commitments to take action in our community to address the issue!
One attendee said: “Thank for organizing such an informative meeting which inspired me…I am going to organize a tour of the Feed the Foothills facility, I already have one person joining in. I now have ways to talk about how to make a local impact through the organizations that presented Thursday night. Thank you again”
We very much appreciate our speakers from whom we learned so much. If you want to see the information they shared click on their name below.
  • Ryan Fruchtenicht Program Manager, Placer County Health & Human Services
  • Laurie Rinker, Regional Philanthropy Manager, Feeding The Foothills
  • Andy Hayes President Of Auburn Interfaith Food Closet
  • Tammi Riedl Founder & Executive Director, Gold Country Food Hub
Our focus was on what YOU can do to address hunger in our community and support the organizations working on getting food to people in need.
