Our Mission

The Auburn Area Democratic Club (hereinafter called AADC) shall focus its efforts within the Auburn-area (inclusive of Meadow Vista, Colfax, Weimar, Applegate, Newcastle in addition to the City of Auburn and its surrounding area) to advance the goals of the Democratic Party (hereinafter called the Party), through public policy and political issue analysis, education, fund-raising, recruitment, coordination with other Democratic groups, and other activities to benefit the Party.
AADC shall seek to publicize its activities, and to build its membership from registered Democrats within the area. AADC shall undertake projects to promote candidates from the Party, on local, state, and national levels.

SERVICE AREA

Placer County has three large geographic areas:
  • The Valley (Roseville area)
  • The Gold Country (Auburn Area)
  • The High Country up to Lake Tahoe
The Auburn Area Democratic Club operates in Placer County’s “Gold Country,” which we define as the “Auburn Area.”
Our club’s service area encompasses all of Placer’s mid-section, the Gold Country area (in bright green on the map below), from Newcastle/Ophir to Colfax/Meadow Vista and from the city of Auburn to North Auburn/Lake of the Pines. Communities on the far side of American River Confluence are also included, such as Foresthill.
