Sierra College Voter Registration Team

Information, Volunteer Opportunities and Reports from the Field

The Sierra College Voter Registration Team is dedicated to registering voters. We are currently alternating weekly between Wednesday and the Tuesday registration teams. We are on the Sierra College Rocklin campus from 10:00am to 1:00pm. (See the events calendar for dates and times). If you are interested in registering young voters, providing voting information and discussing politics in a friendly, non-confrontational and upbeat way we would love to have you join us. If you are interested in joining us and would like more information, please email us a info@auburnareademocrats.com

Resources for Voters

For additional information, please click HERE for Placer County’s Elections Office Website.
Vote from Home In California, any registered voter may vote using a vote-by-mail ballot instead of going to a Vote Center on Election Day. To request a vote-by-mail ballot for a single election or to request a vote-by-mail ballot for all elections (permanent vote-by-mail voting), follow the simple process described here.
Find a Vote Center Please click HERE to find a Vote Center and to see current election information in Placer County.
What Happens if I Vote by Mail? IF when you registered to vote, you initialed the “Vote By Mail” option on your registration form, you will receive your ballot approximately 29 days prior to the election. To Vote, follow the instructions on the ballot.
What do I do if my Vote by Mail Ballot has not Arrived? IF you have not received your ballot by 20 days before the election contact your County Clerk’s office and explain the problem.
Can I Vote at a Vote Center Even if I have a Vote by Mail Ballot? YES! If you prefer to vote at a Voter Center and you have received a “Vote by Mail” ballot, then take that ballot to a Vote Center and request a new ballot. In any event, you may cast a ballot at a Vote Center on Election Day regardless of any other action you may have taken. It will be a provisional ballot and will be counted last and only IF you have not voted elsewhere in this election.
