DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, November 2\, 2023\, 6:00 PM – 8:30 p.m. \nMONTHLY MEMBERS MEETING \nOur Monthly Members Meeting is held on the first Thursday of the month. In November\, it will be held on Thursday\, November 2. Pizza and soft drinks are available at 6:00 p.m. and the business of the meetings starts at 6:30. Meetings are held in-person at the General Gomez Arts and Events Center\, 808 Lincoln Way\, in downtown Auburn. The meeting is also available by Zoom (link below). Please join us! \nPlease note that effective January\, 2024\, Monthly Members Meetings will be held at the Rose Room at Auburn City Hall. See Rose Room address\, map\, and directions here. \n  \nOUR SPEAKER \nGayle Garbolino-Mojica – Placer County Superintendent of Schools. She will speak on California politics and their effect on Placer County Education. \nGayle Garbolino-Mojica is an educational leader\, recognized across the region and the state for her accomplishments in leadership\, advocacy\, and dedication to excellence. She has worked alongside educators and administrators to provide a globally competitive\, comprehensive\, rigorous and relevant education to all students. She is among the longest-serving county superintendents in Placer County and across the state. As a result of that consistency and leadership\, Placer County students have excelled with test scores and educational outcomes that outperform the state year after year.
