DESCRIPTION:From the organizer:\nOn Monday\, workers at the Siemens Mobility rail car manufacturing plant will be filing for a union election covering 1\,600 eligible employees under the banner of Siemens Workers United—and they need our help!\nThese workers have been fighting the good fight for almost two years\, backed by a joint organizing effort of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1245 and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. As they reach this crucial point in their campaign\, it’s important for us to step up and stand with them!\nJoin us at the solidarity action at the Siemens Mobility plant on Monday\, February 10\, from 12 to 3\, to show the workers\, the bosses\, and the public how much support these workers have from their brothers and sisters in the labor movement in Sacramento. Democrat Sarah Keyeski defeated the Republican incumbent in her rural Wisconsin state senate race. Dan and Sarah will talk about their campaigns\, what they ran on\, and what they see as the keys to their success.\nDan Osborn served in the United States Navy\, Nebraska Army National Guard\, and has punched a clock for 20 years as an industrial mechanic. As president of his union\, he led the successful 2021 Kellogg’s strike in Omaha\, preserving hundreds of middle-class jobs. In 2024\, Dan ran for United States Senate as an independent\, over-performing the presidential ballot by more than nearly any other Senate candidate in the country. Dan did it all without taking a dime from the corporations and party bosses that control Washington.\nSarah Keyeski grew up on a dairy farm and went on to work as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
